Supporting Brixton Soup Kitchen this Christmas…

As part of our new charity donation scheme, our parent company chose Brixton Soup Kitchen as our charity of the month for December. Our charity scheme sees a portion of the proceeds from every car we scrap throughout the month donated to our chosen charity.

We pledged to provide BSK with food and essentials in time for Christmas to allow as many people as possible to have the best Christmas.

Brixton Soup Kitchen helps the homeless and people in need. They are open to the public daily to offer a hot meal and a space to stay warm alongside many other services including a free clothes bank, counselling and free legal advice.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, BSK have continued their service by providing food parcels to those in need.

On Friday 18 December, we made our delivery to BSK. From sleeping bags to Christmas food, we were so glad to be able to offer our support.

We were greeted by BSK founder Solomon Smith. Solomon set up Brixton Soup Kitchen in 2013. He used his own money and on the first day of the centre being open, 30 homeless people turned up. Brixton Soup Kitchen now provides for many more people than this.
